The Gospel Pin® as a whole eloquently expresses John 15:5 in which Jesus says:
"I am the vine you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (NKJV)
Gospel Pin® Story
In 1988 I was a stay-at-home-mom and a frustrated artist when God gave me the most awesome design. It started out as just two simple flowers and unfolded into the story of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The symbolism seemed to jump off the page at me. Within seconds I could see the “F” for the Father, the “S” for the Son, “H” for the Holy Spirit, the “J” for Jesus and His death and resurrection. I even saw a “V” representing our victory over death and the grave. John 15 had always been one of my favorite scriptures and there it was represented by the main vine and the two branches, with the flowers representing the fruit we bear when we abide in Him and His Word abides in us.
This design, now known as the Gospel Pin® has been through a lot over the years. Starting out, it was tough to even know how to get it made. Gradually, as doors were opened, it became a beautiful message in a pretty little pin.
In 1997, the Lord supernaturally opened the doors to the QVC Shopping Network. For almost three years I was able to go on air at QVC and “sell out” almost every time. The most exciting part was that I was actually sharing the Gospel with millions of people all over the world. It was an Evangelist dream come true.
Now, I am giving you an opportunity to have a unique way to share the Gospel. “Wear It and Share It” is a phrase I coined for the pin.
The ultimate vision the Lord has given me for the Gospel Pin® symbol is that it will be known all over the World as a significant Christian symbol. Therefore, someday you may see it on all kinds of products, such as; a Door knocker (indicating a Christian lives there); a Welcome flag at your front door; a Garden flag or on a rod iron post in your garden. Just think of all the things that you have seen the poem "Footprints" on and imagine the Gospel Pin symbol at the top and the symbolism explained below, just as it is on the bookmark that comes with the pin now.
